[17:14] Faith Diesel: Health strength & Life
[17:14] Faith Diesel: See them at the top of your screen. Health: amount of hit points before your character becomes defeated
[17:15] Faith Diesel: xp improves your max health and strength values
[17:15] Faith Diesel: along with other stats

[17:17] Faith Diesel: Just pointed out that health is the measure of how many points you have till you are defeated
[17:18] Faith Diesel: Defeated is not dead - just badly injured or unconscious
[17:18] Faith Diesel: To undefeat yourself you need to revive first then heal yourself
[17:19] Faith Diesel: you can get stuck defeated if you do the wrong way round
[17:19] Faith Diesel: if that happens detach and reattached your HUD & meter
[17:20] Schaun Tsunenaga: we can do that after an rp fight? or only when alone?
[17:20] Faith Diesel: Remember the HUD is only assisting RP - remember to rp it

[17:21] Faith Diesel: then doing the revive & heal

[17:25] Faith Diesel: Next Strength: how tired you are. Affected as fight chars, NPCs, melee or add your armour
[17:25] Faith Diesel: so like in rl as you fight you get more tired
[17:25] Faith Diesel: If strength gets to zero, it will affect health
[17:26] Faith Diesel: and last - life
[17:26] Faith Diesel: Life is the full life force of your character, if that gets to zero, you are dead and need to be resurrected.
[17:26] Faith Diesel: Death is difficult but resurrection will probably need a high level character to do.
[17:26] Faith Diesel: There is no permadeath unless you want it for your character
[17:27] Faith Diesel: You need to agree death with your opponent in im

[17:34] Vokksu Emmons: at what percent dos hunger affect youer other stats
[17:34] Faith Diesel: you get power - what we used to call mana - by standing next to people
[17:34] Faith Diesel: need your meter & hud on
[17:34] Faith Diesel: Your character is not permanently deteriorated unless you are more than 500% hungry. Think of it as starvation.

[17:35] Faith Diesel: i always rp eating
[17:35] Schaun Tsunenaga: but when you are hungry are you gaining as much power as you normally would?
[17:35] Faith Diesel: if over 500% hungry i doubt it
[17:36] Faith Diesel: being over 500% hungry for a long time can permanently damage your character so be careful
[17:37] Faith Diesel: but it does take a long time to get that far
[17:37] Faith Diesel: and you do not get hungrier unless you have your hud and meter active
[17:37] Faith Diesel: i am 123% hungry now
[17:37] Faith Diesel: i should do some rp

[17:41] Faith Diesel: so now we call them abilities so you can rp them to suit your character

[17:43] Faith Diesel: This page shows you the /9 command, the name of the ability, the cost in power, how well you know it, how well it works and the range

[17:45] Faith Diesel: What is available to you is dependent on your level (levels are just factorisation of XP)
[17:45] Faith Diesel: You must RP using these abilities but how you rp them is up to you. Make it suit your character.
[17:46] Faith Diesel: ok thats the full list - now lets look at what is available to you
[17:46] Faith Diesel: for that you need to find My LaRPs in your hud
[17:47] Faith Diesel: not sure if the girl who hasnt done her hud yet will be able to see this

[17:48] Faith Diesel: To locate your abilities find My LaRPs. Click on HUD -> Character -> My LaRPs
[17:48] Faith Diesel: In website: click on Details then Choose Abilities side tab to show Abilities available to you

[17:53] Faith Diesel: but later i will talk about PvA dice rollls which you can used for any ability other than harm that is not available in the list
[17:53] Vokksu Emmons: i understand but from a difrent standing like say i was speeking t another st about it and we went back and forth my charicter had an abuility in other sims called twisted aura witch made magical affects has the opasit afect we decided thered be a dice role on affectivness but still unsure on how alowebal that is

[17:55] Faith Diesel: you can use most weapons for melee using the hud
[17:56] Faith Diesel: some we ban cos they have too many scripts and cause lag
[17:56] Faith Diesel: but you will find in your larps folder a free blade which is completely v25 larps compliant
[17:57] Faith Diesel: if you look at the right hand side of your hud you will see crossed swords symbol
[17:58] Faith Diesel: by clicking that you can sheath and unsheath that knife
[17:58] Faith Diesel: but you can still use other weapons by sheathing and unsheathing according to their instructions
[17:59] Faith Diesel: in fact if you want to fight with a cod or a ham sandwich just wear it on one hand
[17:59] Faith Diesel: can melee with a prim box if you wish - but not in legacies - not very victorian

[18:03] Faith Diesel: you need to choose the one to suit your weapon

[18:23] Faith Diesel: At level 15 you can also use Shield & Anti-curse
[18:24] Faith Diesel: Shield protects your character from damaging abilities like push, missile, hobble
[18:24] Faith Diesel: Anticurse protects you from those that are curses like /9BlindThem

[18:32] Faith Diesel: you have 3 options Harm, Assist & discovery

[18:33] Faith Diesel: assist to help someone and discovery to find out something from someone
[18:34] Faith Diesel: if you want to rp setting a fire or picking a lock or affect anything that cannot be targeted then use PvE

[18:35] Faith Diesel: here the choses depend on the size of the object affected

[18:36] Faith Diesel: simple, medium and heavy are the normal choices
[18:36] Faith Diesel: but if you want to affect a whole building you need to do a seige roll which is very hard to achieve

[18:40] Faith Diesel: you may only use this if there is no appropriate ability in the hud
[18:40] Faith Diesel: and it cannot be used to make up for the fact you are not a high enough level
[18:41] Faith Diesel: it also cannot be used for immediate harm
[18:41] Faith Diesel: you can use your abilities in the hud or PvT for that
[18:41] Vokksu Emmons: so then things like illushions wuld be fine for a pva?
[18:41] Faith Diesel: anything you cannot do any other way and its a learned ability or magic
[18:42] Faith Diesel: you must have an ST though
