[13:04] GRIGORI Yardley: and two building a character people attach to
[13:05] Faith Diesel: ok ill start with characters and storylines
[13:05] Faith Diesel: In Legacies we try to achieve total immersion with our rp
[13:06] Faith Diesel: to do that we use techniques like the no ooc in local
[13:06] Faith Diesel: and the appropriate dress for the avatar.
[13:07] Nystyrre Deezul: yea the right look can realy set things off for your character,moodwise
[13:07] Faith Diesel: if you want to get that total immersion feel it needs to extend to and from the storyline of the sim and or your character
[13:08] Faith Diesel: my character fate for example started its life on a medievil sim
[13:09] Faith Diesel: i spent two weeks when i first arrives hardly rping at all because i wasnt sure how to make her victorian
[13:10] Faith Diesel: now im very anal in these things and I dont like continuity errors
[13:11] Faith Diesel: if I hadnt had Fate already who I am rather fond of - I would have chosen a character more in character with legacies
[13:12] Nystyrre Deezul: mine right now since he started off medievil ,is right now ina since of cunfusion,as it is beyond his comprehension at the moment

[13:19] Nystyrre Deezul: well names have ever been my weak point in my character develpment,soits actually from a book i read. I like the way it rolled of the tongue

[13:20] Nystyrre Deezul: and as said it was appropiate

[13:25] Faith Diesel: i do check my char names against other similar characters where i can find them in books and on the iinternet
[13:25] Faith Diesel: to see if there is any precedence
[13:26] Faith Diesel: the other thing to be aware of is being a specific character like morpheus

[13:28] Faith Diesel: much better to be a descendant
[13:28] Nystyrre Deezul: well the reason i kept his name is the twist i used on the time travel rule,as time and space work coinside with each other

[13:38] Faith Diesel: and moved to england after the great battle with the formians
[13:38] Faith Diesel: this is very useful - i can use the legends as background
[13:38] Faith Diesel: but i dont have to follow them precisely
[13:39] Faith Diesel: because she comes from a branch of the family
[13:39] Faith Diesel: it is great fun to research your race
[13:40] Faith Diesel: you can find all sorts of fun natural talents for example
[13:40] GRIGORI Yardley: could a daemon fall in the catagory of wrath?

[13:47] Faith Diesel: though technically it only mentions seelie faes there at the moment

[13:48] Faith Diesel: i suggest grigori that you look at the race attributes
[13:49] Faith Diesel: because that indicates how larps will affect your stats

[13:50] Faith Diesel: but if you spend time with your other race and act like the other race you can learn to have the other races attributes

[14:15] Faith Diesel: then if they dont fit and you want to do harm use Player vs Target diceroll

[14:17] Nystyrre Deezul: the ablities cause no harm,bu tthe dropw do use them to enhnce their own combat abliliies
