[8:37] Tamryn Khandr: That is a good quesiton- As you know when you fisrt created your character you placed Stat numbers into things like Inteligence...wisdom etc...and now your character levels without you having to [place stats based on the pervious way yuo placed the stats and what you say your profession is.

[8:55] Tamryn Khandr: yes, great question-- you can use it against players if you are fighting with meters...you can use it as a magic spell or as a melee fighting...
[8:55] Tamryn Khandr: let me give you a example:
[8:56] Brawen brawen walks up to Galen after seeing him take her favoritte book once again without askings. She walks up and with a forceful motion attempts to push him down to the ground.

[8:58] Tamryn Khandr: but the point is you can use these meter things in various ways..not just as spells.
[9:00] Tamryn Khandr: The meter is used to enhance your Role Play take the time oocly to get to know how it works and thing about how you personally can use it to enhance your rp.
[9:00] Tearroar Thor: *raises hand* Once a ability is tossed, it could turn into a meter fight, yes? But what if one side isn't interested in meter bashing?
[9:01] Angel Walters: talk to the in ims and see if your going meter or ffc
[9:02] Tamryn Khandr: When this happens...1. Talk to the person and ask them to wait for a ST...2. Call for a ST ...then wait until the St comes ..let them know the situation...then follow the instructions given from there.

[9:04] Tamryn Khandr: The challenge rule is in effect on the Role play floor.... 2 lines of Rp before and after Melee fighting giving the opponent time to respond...
[9:06] Tamryn Khandr: Forgive me- the challenge rule also includes ANY..meter action as well -- 2 lines before and after.
[9:06] SK Meads: Sano, I think most people prefer Rp'd combat rather than straight out meter fighting, at least the people I know of..

[9:07] Sano Ra: so one respnds to the attack and and one describes the next attack...got it..
[9:08] Tamryn Khandr: Actually Dice roll and Rp-ed fighting is intergrated here..we encourage you to do what works for your character... Also the ST - you call will aid in describing the events occuring in the fight.

[9:13] Tamryn Khandr: Dice roll fight is when you use the meter options in the dice oll area..they may be PvTarget.....PvAbility...and PvEnviroment = you use these things to effect others and the enviroment....yuo call a ST to observe these rolls.

There is melee area here...oocly..take time to go there and learn the meter what it can do ...2. Attend Sessions - the instructors work hard to create classes that will enhance your RP... and 3 . You can ask questions we will try hard helping you understand the meter and this RP enviroment.
