Legacies Storyteller
Here in Legacies Beyond Darkness the role play belongs to the role players and their vast imaginations and fantasies. The Staff here are here to assist with character creation, back story creation and evolution, role plays and facilitating the players in their goal (s). The golden rule here in Legacies is to simply have fun.
Purpose:
1. Although not a Moderator (Senior Player) all Senior Players are Storytellers. Active players here in Legacies the potential Storytellers are approached by a Senior Player after careful observation and prior discussion with the rest of the Senior Player Team.
2. Seen to be a positive light here in Legacies the Storyteller embellishes/describes the action (s) / to be taken not direct the path of the meter and player.
3. To direct the path based on the Role Play taking place based on the players intent and goal they would like to achieve that led to calling a Storyteller.
4. The Storyteller describes the outcome of the dice without spelling out the out come of the dice in numerical or percentage form.Nature:
The Legacies Storyteller is a respected member of our role play community.
Having put in the time effort and commitment this dedicated player has maintained an open mind as well as remaining impartial in tense situations.
A friendly, sociable person the Storyteller is always available to assist the players of Legacies.
Though not often, the Legacies Storyteller is able to, in a timely manner write themselves out of a role play scene for the sake of Legacies.
Have an intricate knowledge of Legacies, Dice and Aspects of Role Play here as well as our races and abilities here in Legacies.
To interact and facilitate players helping to promote their Role Play. This can be done by IM'ing and helping to get them settled and involved. Become an ambassador for the players.Responsibilities:
1. Observe and Narrate Dice Rolls at the players request or when needed.
2. Oversee and Coordinate ongoing Role Plays especially those involving the Legacies Realm.
3. Remain up to date and aware of any changes taking place involving Legacies LaRPS HUD/Meter, Rules and Guidelines including ToS and any aspects of role play here in Legacies the sims, role plays, events and the players as well as Legacies Staff.
4. Put egos aside for the sake of Legacies and the players. No one likes everyone and no one knows everything, there are times where egos need to be put aside and other assistance needed.Abilities: Award Experience Points, Dock Experience Points, Detach LaRPS Meters. Such incidents of Docking and/or Detaching a players LaRPS Meter requires the involment of a Senior Player on the scene directly involved. In the instance when Senior Player is not available at that time Immediately follow up the incident with a Note Carded Report.
